Born in 1974 in New Jersey, finds inspiration in postcards and memories from his travels to create vibrant, expansive landscapes. His paintings are known for their dreamy, almost surreal quality, where he layers rich colors to reimagine natural scenes into fantastical realms. Cass studied at prestigious institutions like the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts and the School of Visual Art in New York.His work has been showcased globally, including exhibitions at renowned galleries such as Velge & Noirhomme in Brussels and Stellan Holm Gallery in New York. Notably, his large-scale landscapes, characterized by vivid, acidic hues, are part of permanent collections at institutions like the Kemper Museum of Art in Kansas City and the Denver Museum of Art.Currently, Cass divides his time between studios in New York and Naples, Florida, continuing to captivate audiences with his evocative interpretations of the natural world.
